A beer named after my favorite poet! At $15 a bottle, it’s on my “To Drink” list. But, if this beer tastes anywhere near how good the label looks, it’s gold. Check out their simple yet effective website/animation http://www.baudelairebeer.com/

Lovin’ the last name! Here’s another shot from yesterdays Tunes from the Tombs event.

What a weekend. We checked out another outdoor event, Tombs from the Tunes at Oakland Cemetary in Grant Park. (One of my favorite cemeteries). Music, booze & food trucks all amongst the stones. I wish this was a monthly occurence. Shown here is Boneyard Brew, pun intended I’m sure. We also had “rat toes” to snack on which are shrimp wrapped in jalapenoes wrapped in bacon and served on a toothpick. Oh how I missed the South.

Now that I am settled back in Atlanta (with internet, yay!), I can look back at all the places I had drinks in New York and pick favorites. Without second thought the bar I would run back to first on my next visit is …*drum roll*… Death and Company. Their cocktail menu is to die for. My favorite was the spicy “Southern Exposure” combining jalapeno infused tequila with lime juice and a red pepper puree. I would do just about anything to have one right now.
