Lush Lady is going international! I just got back from an amazing trip to Mexico City where I went to be with my husband’s family on New Years Eve. I learned so much about food and drinks that I felt like I was on my own personal episode of No Reservations. I have some things to share with you and I’ll start with my favorite. 

Micheladas are a beer beverage originating in San Luis, Mexico. They are similar to our Bloody Mary’s and considered a hangover cure. Below is the recipe I learned from Billy and Bernie, my favorite new cousins, and should be adjusted to your own taste.

 Michelada
+ Glass full of ice
+ juice of 1.5 fresh limes
+ 2 pinches salt
+ 4 dashes Jugo Sazondar or soy sauce 
+ 8 dashes Worchestire sauce
+  couple dashes hot sauce such as Valentina
+ 1/2 cup Clamato
+ 1/2 beer (preferably light beer)
