It’s-a-spicy-Friday!
Here’s a little back story on this drink. A Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail made with a liquor from fermented sugarcane juice called cachaça, lime and sugar. In the States we use vodka and call it a Caipiroska. I’m lucky I can escape to Brazil just down the street at Ziba’s Wine Bar.

I had the pleasure of dining at Agave in Cabbagetown, Atlanta this weekend. They are a Southwest restaurant known for having the best margaritas in the city. This jalapeno margarita was no let down. It was full of all the flavor of a jalapeno without the spice. The more traditional ‘ritas were fantastic as well. it’s no wonder they named their establishment after the plant from which tequila is derived.

My husband picked this out at the liquor store, and I have to say it’s good stuff. It isn’t overly spicy, it just leaves a little burn in your throat. Delicious with any citrus fruit juice. We had it with a Mango Pineapple Orange mix.
